Details: Requested by Gloucestershire police to assist with the search for a missing 23 year old male in the Gloucester area. Incident Support Unit and Land-search teams dispatched to assist together with colleagues from SARA Tewkesbury and rescue boat from SARA Sharpness. Stood down when the person was located by police.

Incident Support Unit and Land-search teams dispatched to assist together with colleagues from SARA Tewkesbury. Stood down when the person was located safe and well by police.

Incident Support Unit together with Mobile Rescue Unit No 2 and Land search Teams carried out intensive searches of allocated areas together with colleagues from SARA Tewkesbury. Nothing found. Search stood down and referred to as police action only.

Details: Following a report from Uskmouth power station security personnel of a "grey hulled" dory with four persons on board colliding with a pylon-structure near the docks at Newport and confirmation from UK Coastguard SARA-19 and SARA-14 searched the River Usk from Uskmouth to Caerleon. Nothing was found.

Details: Following a call from a member of the public and confirmation from UK Coastguard SARA Lifeboat - 14 and Rescue Boat -19 launched to search for an 8-meter blue and white cruiser reporting to be missing off the Usk Estuary with two person on board. Search commenced together with Coastguard Helicopter and RNLI colleagues from Penarth. Search called off when discovered to be a hoax call.

Incident Support Vehicle and Land SAR teams dispatched to assist with a team from SARA Tewkesbury. Nothing was found after an intensive search of allocated areas. Stood down to await further information from police.

Details: Request from South Wales Fire & Rescue Service to assist with rescue of person trapped in the mud of the River Wye near Newport City Centre (Millennium Bridge area). Mobile Rescue Unit No10 and SARA Rescue-boat No3 dispatched from Chepstow. Crews also deployed from Newport. Stood down on arrival at launch area when person brought to safety by FRS team.

Details: Launch requested by UK Coastguard to respond to "calls for help" believed to come from the Severn/Wye estuary confluence area. SARA Lifeboat No3 and Rescue-boat No5 launched to carry out detailed search in assistance to Chepstow Coastguard of mud-flats at low tide. Nothing found. Well meaning false alarm possibly triggered by person calling to a dog.

Details: UK Coastguard requested launchto report of red distress flares seen near M4 bridge over the Severn Estuary. SARA Lifeboats Nos 1 & 3 launched to investigate area between Black Rock and Clevedon Pier. Nothing found. Well meaning false alarm possibly triggered by night-time activity at Caerwent Military training area.
