Hoggin’ The Bridge

On Sunday 16th October around 2,200 motorbikes, many of them Harley Davidson owners from all over the country, took part in the annual “Hoggin’ the Bridge” ride over the Severn Bridge which is now in it’s sixth year. Spectators lined the streets to watch as the bikers roared into Chepstow town and were entertained with stalls, hog roast and live music in the streets. The event organised by the Bridgwater Chapter raises money for local charities and this year SARA were one of four charities who each received a donation of £2,500. The presentations took place at the monthly meeting held at the Boat & Anchor in Bridgwater in December which was attended by Alan Stanley, SARA Executive Chairman.
