Wyre Forest & District Young Citizens Challenge 2005

More than 1100 children are learning how to deal with hazardous situations during the two week event staged by West Mercia Constabulary at Trimpley Reservoir which started on Monday 27th June.

Hereford & Worcester Fire Service, the Royal Life Saving Society, Severn Area Rescue Association, SPACE (providing advice about drugs and alcohol) Severn Trent Water, Thomas Vale Construction are some of the local experts giving advice on accident prevention as well as fire and water safety.

SARA are working jointly with the local Royal Life Saving Society on a water safety scenario and the children get a chance to try out SARA's throw lines at the end of the session.
