SARA Sharpness Orders New Flood Boat

SARA Sharpness will shortly be taking delivery of a new flood boat. The craft will be very similar to the one pictured below but with a few additions for SARA use.

The boat was purchased with funds donated by the 'Lions Club of Dursley' and will be named by the Lions Club.

Boat details - 14" Seastrike

Constructed from Aluminum with a weight of 110 KG

Powered by a 25 HP engine

Will have Reflexite reflective battenburg on the sides and rear in orange and blue to aid recognition at safety boat events and flooding/calls

The boat meets and exceeds the Brown Code and can be used in Cat C waters (Coastal)

The new boat will be designated as SARA 6.
