Upton crew undertake Swift Water Training

Upton Station has 7 crew now trained to SRT1 qualification. A recent training exercise took place on the River Severn at Trimpley using the RDC (Rapid Deployment Craft) which the group are evaluating for use in swift water and weir rescue situations. This craft was shipped over to the UK from Oceanid, based in the USA.
