Microsoft Donate Software to SARA

SARA recently received three software packages from Microsoft as part of their 'Microsoft Giving' scheme. SARA was delighted with this donation as it allowed us to run the latest version of Microsoft Office on two PCs, an essential tool, and also upgrade the Beachley PC to the latest and most secure operating system, Windows XP. This was particularly beneficial as Beachley has recently obtained broadband Internet courtesy of BT, and security is, as always, a concern.

Between 1998 and 2002 Microsoft donated over £3 million of software to the UK voluntary sector, for use in fund-raising or helping to run voluntary organisations.

SARA extends its thanks to Microsoft for this useful donation.
