The new SARA Beachley Launch and Recovery Vehicle was brought into service on Sunday 29th September. This Vehicle will be used to launch the SARA boats based at Beachley via the slipway, and means that the current LandRovers will no long be exposed to the corrosive salt water of the estuary.
SARA would like to thank David James for the supply of the vehicle and a large amount of the work that went into converting the machine from the original dumper. We would also like to thank Chris Taylor, one of the Beachley members, who has also put in large amounts of time and effort to see the project through.
