A number of SARA members recently attended a memorial evening for the four young men who died in a tragic car accident in the River Usk last December. SARA was called to the scene of the crash that evening and assisted the police.
The families and friends of the victims had been raising money for a suitable memorial stone. This was later donated by a local stonemason, and the funds were given to four charities at the evening event. SARA was in receipt of a cheque for £1000. All members of SARA found this a difficult event to attend, but one in which they were honoured to do so.
SARA would like to thank the families for thinking of us at this difficult time.
